Morning Hunt : Weddings Unveiled Magazine | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

SVP on the newsstands?! Pinch me!! Dreams really do come true, y’all!! Almost one year after this shoot I am getting to hold it in my hands, and touch it. I can even smell it on the pages. Ahhh! This experience was more than I could have dreamed of for my business, and my heart. The lady beside me in the store smiled as I giggled and jumped up and down like a little girl seeing it in print for the very first time. I am so blessed and thankful to work with such talented artists and vendors in this industry. Jamie Elliott‘s concept of “In the Gloaming” came to life beautifully. We are honored to have a 6-page spread (!!!!) in Weddings Unveiled Magazine to showcase all it’s amazing-ness. Anyone can grab a copy – they can be found at all the major book and grocery stores.

I’m excited to finally be able to share these images with you all on the BLOG! Keeping them to ourselves for a year has been quite a task. 😉 “In the Gloaming”  was a 12+ hour shoot (sunrise to sunset) so as you can imagine, we took a LOT of photographs. I will be sharing this shoot in 3 posts: Morning Hunt, Afternoon Tea, + Dinner on the Hillside.

Today I share the “Morning Hunt” followed by whisky by the fire. With a 5am call time we wanted to ensure we captured the true ambiance of a morning hunt. Jamie made a few calls and actually scored a fog machine from the Walking Dead set which added so much depth to the photographs. After the hunt Jamie dreamed of the guys warming up by the fire. His vision and design never ceases to amaze me. Seeing it in person was stunning and his execution told the story beautifully on camera.

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to my dear friend, Theary Meak, who was my partner in photographing this shoot. Her talent is endless and she inspires me every single day. I could not have captured this day without her and am so thankful for her friendship. I love you lady!!
