Girls' Trip : Savannah + Tybee Island | Atlanta Wedding Photographers

I grew up traveling and have always had a strong desire to explore new places. There is nothing I love more than a good adventure! Jessica, Theary and I just got back from a girls' weekend in Savannah and I'm still dreaming about our time together. We teamed up for a wedding on Tybee Island for a friend's sister and were able to mix in a little work with play. That's a win-win in my book! We laughed, shared silly stories, took lots of pictures and did a little sight-seeing while we were there. Women need time together and I'm so thankful we were able to sneak away for the weekend. Sometimes a break from our routine is the very thing our souls need.

Our room over looked the Savannah River, which we LOVED. Peering out over the balcony was one of my favorite parts of the trip. While we were there, we visited a few different places in downtown Savannah. Our favorite stop was The Collins Quarter - a quaint little brunch spot that totally stole our hearts! Our waiter was just a doll! He loved that we were taking pictures and even let us sneak some shots of him. You guys have to try this place! Of course, we couldn't leave town without doing a little shopping. The Paris Market was right up my alley and by far our favorite store. Their goods were a mixture of earthy elements and neutral decor. If I could, I would have bought everything in the store. We will definitely be going back!!

The girls and I have decided we will be doing this at least once a year. I can't wait to explore the next town with these ladies!!  #seatforIII please :)

Weddings Unveiled Magazine Feature - Vinewood Plantation Spring Shoot - Atlanta Wedding Photographer

What an honor it is to be featured by Weddings Unveiled Magazine!! I have been anxiously waiting to share the loveliness with you all. Below is the article from Weddings Unveiled. . .

This wedding inspiration at Vinewood Plantation has such a sweet, romantic loveliness captured in beautiful images by Shauna Veasey and featuring dreamy florals by Virtu Floral Design. Designed by J. Elliott in a palette of black and white with accents of gold and soft blush, we love the combination of bold stripes with pretty florals. The dinner table blends a variety of vintage and modern elements, featuring antique furniture, a dramatic framed chalkboard sign in graceful calligraphy and a stunning suspended floral installation made of overlapping circles and sprays of blooms. A bold black and white striped runner is set with centerpiece florals in vintage ceramics, tall brass candlesticks with black tapers and votives in mercury glass, while place settings feature black beaded chargers with gold-rimmed plates, sleek gold flatware, gold and black stemware and the evening’s menu. Don’t miss the charming paper goods by Best Day Ever Designs by Kathy and the black and gold cake by Blooming Flour Bakery. Look for our post about Vinewood’s Spring 2015 Open House coming soon and be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for a list of the talented team of vendors who worked together to produce these gorgeous images.
